Bluebell hunt?

 Today I went looking for Bluebells by the River Wansbeck...

I came down from behind the bridge...

...The River was quiet...

...apart from the occasional duck!

Onwards!

Normally, when there are bluebells out, this is where you start seeing them...

I hoped this was not all there was!

Beam me up Bluebell!

I started to see a couple of clumps.

I cut up a cycle path where there is a secret grove...

This was more like it!

I turned back at the fallen tree.

At least there were a fair number on the cycle path, but not the usual mass, maybe next week?...

Craster and Dunstanburgh, our return

 Today we went to Craster for a (very nice!) lunch, then went to Dunstanburgh castle, we last visited in 2016 LINK

Over lunch we had seen a pod of Dolphins going North just beyond the sea wall...

...I couldn't catch any pics of them though!

We finally reached the Castle.

We made our way down.

As we headed back to Craster and the car, we looked again at the castle in the evening light.
